Behaviour Policy
We have high expectations about behaviour and conduct in our academy.
We are committed to promoting good behaviour, which underpins a climate of safety. We believe that good behaviour needs to be carefully developed throughout the academy.
We believe that young people learn best when they are clear about what is expected of them and are clear about what they are supposed to do. Having a consistent system throughout the academy means that children are fully aware of what is expected.
Our aim at Rudheath Primary Academy is that every member of the school community feels valued and respected, and that each person is treated fairly and well. We are a caring community, whose values are built on mutual trust and respect for all. The school’s behaviour policy is therefore designed to support the way in which all members of the school can live and work together. It aims to promote an environment where everyone feels happy, safe and secure.
The three School Rules are:
- Take care of ourselves
- Take care of others
- Take care of our school
As a school, we recognise that there may be some children who find following rules very difficult due to their additional needs. Support will be given where required and a separate system for individuals may be employed.
